Watch and Share: Dr. Aditi Sethi’s TEDx Talk, The Art of Dying Before You Die
Dr. Aditi Sethi, Executive Director of the Center for Conscious Living & Dying (CCLD), the only Omega Home operating in North Carolina, has been introducing audiences to community deathcare and our social model hospice home. She recently stepped onto the TEDx Asheville stage to present her heartfelt talk, The Art of Dying Before You Die.
For Aditi, this was one of the most transformative experiences of her life. Initially, she sought to improve her public speaking skills but was soon encouraged by her coach to apply for TEDx, focusing her topic on death and dying. Though she felt unprepared for such a monumental task, her journey of personal growth, trust in her coach, and commitment to transforming how we approach death in our modern world led her to surrender her fears and doubts.
Her appearances recently reached audiences in Australia, Tasmania, and Singapore, amplifying our collective message on a global scale. After watching Aditi speak to Compassionate Communities in Australia, the Director, Dr. Joann Doran, remarked, “I’ve been asked to give a TED talk, and now I don’t need to because you, Aditi, have said everything I ever wanted to say!”
